Join us for sunday services

We’d love to meet you! Come join us for our Sunday service starting at 9AM.

Pastor

Sara Gorman

A native of California, Pastor Sara grew up attending an ELCA church and graduated from Luther Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota. She is married to Patrick, and they have a young son and a cat.

When Pastor Sara is not busy with church related things, she enjoys knitting, cross-stitching, reading, walking, and golfing. She also enjoys getting to know individuals in the community through conversations or meals.

Pastor Sara’s favorite age group to work with is middle school students, but she loves children of all ages. Ask her about why she doesn’t like carrying things up or down stairs.

Office administrator

Lorri Rommelfaenger

Lorri has worked at Redeemer since 2011 and enjoys her interactions with Redeemer members and the Plymouth community.  She is happy to help!  She appreciates the grace extended by Redeemer members when there are typos in printed communications (she admits proofreading is not a strength).  When not at Redeemer, Lorri enjoys reading, knitting, and puttering at home in the Town of Greenbush.  She and her husband, Kurt, enjoy pedaling their quadracycle on Wisconsin bike trails when the weather cooperates.

Treasurer

Pam Rauwerdink

My name is Pam Rauwerdink, and I have been a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church since 1989. I took over the position of treasurer in 2017 and will start my sixth year in this position in January of 2023.

Over the course of the past 33+ years, I have been involved with Confirmation, the Mentor/Mentee program, Choir, Altar Guild, and other church ministries. I have also undertaken the role of liaison between UMOS and Redeemer, from almost the time that UMOS began a partnership with Redeemer.  I enjoy being part of Redeemer and worshiping God. I have watched the Holy Spirit at work throughout our congregation.

Financial Secretary

Kathy Eaton

I have lived in Plymouth and been a member of Redeemer for over 20 years, moving here in 1999 when my sons, Zane and Mike, were in 3rd and 5th grades.  Time sure flies!  From involvement in youth activities as they grew, to Bible studies, Compassion Team, Council, Praise Group, and currently Financial Secretary and Stephen Ministry Leader, it seems like I’ve moved through many of Redeemer’s opportunities to serve.  When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, walking, reading, and live theater, especially in New York!

Custodian

Mark Krahn

I was born in Cascade and lived there for 60 years until moving to Plymouth 13 years ago. Diane and I have been married for 54 years and have two children, Todd (deceased) and Tanya. We have four grandkids, three girls and one boy. We joined Redeemer when we moved to Plymouth, and I have been the custodian here for about 12 years. In my spare time, I like to watch my grandkids’ sports activities and dance performances. I also like to hunt, fish, and watch Wisconsin sports. Diane and I also like to eat out whenever we have the opportunity.

Musician

Freddie Noordyk

Fredericka (Freddie) is married to Anton; Mom of two; Grandmother of three; Retired educator; member of the Redeemer music team since 1965.

Musician

Scott Schielke

After a few years of piano lessons in my younger years, I continued to participate in any and all school groups that involved playing or singing music. For my career, I ended up in Electrical Automation, but continued playing for church services and directed the choir at my home church. I played in the 80’s rock band, “By Design,” for 10+ years and marched with the “Classic Reunion” drumline for 20+ years. As my sons became involved in school music, I accompanied them and other music students for WSMA festivals. I have also been active in ecumenical concerts and charity fundraisers throughout my 40+ years in music.

In 2019, I answered a Craigslist ad and was the accompanist for the Redeemer Christmas Cantata. I then joined Redeemer in 2020 and worked with Kurt Colburn on the Easter Cantata until Covid hit. I currently accompany the Redeemer Praise Team and work with Freddie for the Pop Up Choirs.

I live in Sheboygan Falls with Kathi, my wife of 37 years. I have three sons, a daughter-in-law, and two grandsons. I work for Altmeyer Electric in Sheboygan and hope to retire in 2023.
